Capote, based on Gerald Clarke’s biography, tells the story of Truman Capote’s writing of In Cold Blood. It covers the period from 1959, when Truman Capote becomes interested in writing an article for the New Yorker on the murder of an entire family in a farmhouse in Kansas, to 1965, when the killers are executed by hanging.
