Interesting debate! Thanks. I’m a retired science writer & biochemist with a career in the pharmaceutical industry that spanned 40 years. This year my wife (#1) & I will celebrate our 50th (golden) wedding anniversary. We have two children, both married and professionals, and one granddaughter.
Ten years ago in addition to working for a pharmaceutical companyI worked with Dr. John Cullen, psychologist, as a consultant writer & editor of online articles related to
psychosynthesis which was originated mainly by Drs. Roberto Assagioli & Carl Jung:

Simply stated practitioners of psychosynthesis try to teach patients to be their own psychotherapist, integrate their positive subpersonalities, e.g. creative photographer, into a cohesive whole, eliminate their negative subpersonalities, e.g., saboteur, and live in the future rather than be seduced by the past or present. This allows patients to achieve their full psychic potential and either have transcendental (peak) experiences if they didn’t have any previously or have better ones if they did:

Based on application of psychosynthesis, I had the following improved peak experience:
During a company convention, I accompanied some sales reps. to a strip club as I was curious having not visited one before. After a stripper, nude except for a money belt which focused on her cleavage, finished her act, she asked the viewers to insert money (a tip) in her cleavage. Some men did. I refused and put the money on her hand.
I said that I’ll give you money on your hand since you’re a human being, and added that her hand felt cold and her skin was very pale. She thanked me, said that she didn’t feel well and asked me if I’m a Doctor. I answered: no and suggested that she see a Doctor pronto, as she may be anemic. Next the viewers, including my company sales reps. and others, began to fraternize with her and discuss health. One lent her his jacket, and she turned to me and said, “This is amazing. Who are you?” I answered that I’m just a concerned human being. Then the sales reps. & I wished her good luck and left the strip club.
