    Brava, Arlene, a beautiful and eloquent and historically complete introduction.

    Martin is simply monumental.

    Martin participate in the Berlin IPA congress in 2007 as one of the keynoters.

    I have known Martin since the early 1970′s. As medical student in Jerusalem in 1955 I heard his father, the philosopher Hugo Bergmann, lecture on his compatriot Franz Kafka and other existentialists.

    Happy birthday and till hundred and twenty, Martin!
