This is must reading for all psychoanalysts. Langs makes a strong case for how we can make our field relevant as a true scientific endeavor, and how we can attract more interest from the best minds in universities. By denying the truth of the universial fear of death, we deprive ourselves of what is essential for the growth of our minds. This denial of truth is pleasant, but it damages our minds.
