APsaA Work on Separation of Families at the US Border

Apropos advocacy re child separation at the border – this is what APSaA has done:

These efforts included:

• Contacting several members of congress who are currently working on legislation to end this policy: Senator Diane Feinstein, Senator Cory Booker, Senator Jeff Merkley to name a few. You can read our letter here.
• Garnering media coverage such as this letter-to-the-editor by incoming president Lee Jaffe in the Los Angeles Times, this article published on Mic.com.
• APsaA has also signed on to this petition started by Dana Sinopoli with PsiAN and encourage you to sign on as individuals as well.
