WORKSHOP ON CHILD ANALYSIS: The Crucial Role of Interpretation in Children’s Analysis by Angelo Villa  Saturday, June 6, 2020 10:30 am – 12:30 pmTo register, click here.

Interpretation is a fundamental speech act in children’s analysis. Clinical work with children underlines its structuring effects and its crucial role. If this role is misunderstood or dismissed, it deprives the child of his or her status as subject, reducing him or her to the status of a minor.
Angelo Villa is a psychoanalyst practicing in Milan and a member of Après-Coup Psychoanalytic Association. He is the author of many books including, in English translation, Psychoanalysis and Severe Handicap (Karnac, 2013).
