Teaching Method: Clinical presentation and discussion.

Learning Objectives:

1. Participants will learn to identify some of the ways in which creativity in the analytic dyad take shape

within the clinical encounter.

2. Participants will learn the function and place of creativity within psychic structure and conflict, and in the transference countertransference matrix.

3. Participants will learn to listen for diverging dimensions of the creative experience in both technique and theory.

4. Participants will begin to learn how to work through more complex resistances in the transference and countertransference that both revolve and emerge from the diverging meanings of creativity in the analytic work.
