The New York Psychoanalytic Society & Institute invites you to a clinical series: FROM THE CHAIR TO THE COUCH 2018 – 2019
Interested in learning more about psychoanalysis and how to deepen your clinic practice? Please join us for this year’s three part clinical series.
In the first evening’s presentation on Tuesday, October 30th, an advanced candidate Dr. Nicole Regent will discuss her analysis of an adult patient, and Training Analyst Dr. Alan Zients will act as a discussant. This presentation will focus on defense and transference interpretations and will highlight the mutative agents active in many analyses.
As usual, there will be food and drink and a lively discussion of clinical material. Professionals and students with backgrounds in psychology, psychiatry, and social work are welcome to attend.

Tuesday, January 29th, 2019, 7-9PM: Adult Case Presentation by advanced candidate Dr. Amber Nemeth, with a discussion from a Kleinian perspective by NYPSI member, Dr. Lynne Zeavin.
Late March, 2019, 7-9PM: Informal gathering and Q&A with current NYPSI candidates.
