Program Description:
As an introduction Dr. Kliman will present a few babies and young children who were badly abused. The children varied in age, from a couple of years to 27 years, as the abuse went on for decades. While people suspected it, they did not properly exercise their duty as mandated reporters. This is an extension of the psychoanalytic view of trauma through a forensic lens. The videos capture early childhood trauma, ruptures of attachment, and the cruelty of homosapiens to their own children.
