There is an argument to be made that as extraordinary as this time is, in a sense it is no different than any other context in our work. When the world outside dramatically intrudes on the world inside there are profound  possibilities in our consulting rooms. All of us filter/exploit/transform our public and private environments uniquely. Psychoanalytic therapy still does the work of searching for meaning that is not obvious, as well as links between past and present; in other words, unconscious links.
